What is the Reveal Strength Campaign?

The Reveal Strength Campaign isn’t just about a bricks and mortar renovation. This project is about creating living-wage jobs, scaling our impactful social and mental health services, and increasing equitable access to programming that connects neighbors and deepens community engagement, helping level the playing field for the more than 4,000 client-guests we work with annually.

Built in the early 1900’s, the RS building has been the site of several iconic stores and institutions, including the President’s Shirt Shop and the Minority Contractor’s Union. This $14.9Mil project allows for the complete shell and renovation of the current RS building, including:

• Safety upgrades and improving ADA accessibility

• Increased Mental Health and Social Services and trauma-informed spaces for RS clients

• Expanding Thelma’s Kitchen and adding Thelma’s Box Lunch prep kitchen

• Sustainability & Solar systems

• Community Gathering Spaces and a 5th floor Therapy Garden

• Leveraging Public Investments
